The miracle of having overcome several incidents that could've ended up in death for myself and child. To now have a comfortable roof over my head, having come from nothing at all. Most importantly, I'm grateful for all the beauty that surrounds us, if we open our eyes.

I am grateful to the lord for me knowing my cats and one in heaven I am grateful for loving and lost than to never have loved at all I am grateful for being comfortable with money and never to have slept on the streets I miss my beautiful cat

When I was 47 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgery, I went through 6 rounds of chemotherapy then radiation treatment 5 days a week for 7 weeks. My children were 5, 7, and 11. I was grateful that it was me who had cancer and not one of them. I thanked God that it was me and not my child.

I am co-author, along with 29 other women from all over the world, in the third book in the Life-Inspired series, called “The Book on Gratitude”, which will publish on or around December 6th 2022. We share our stories of what gratitude means to us, and most of us watched this movie on World Gratitude Day. Thank you for the gift that keeps on giving.

My gratitude story has to do with having the great blessing of being able to get heal from cancer while going through a major and chaotic life transition from being almost homeless while still working as a chef on farmers market and catering business. Living from my car and storage unit and in until finale I give it up ro move back from USA to my home country Brasil. Long story short I am here, feeling great, bless and with my heart full of gratitude for being able to make it out still whole, still going on in healing myself from dipper in in but with gratitude in my heart that I am definitely in the right place and in the right direction! Babies emerging into the light from their mother's dark and quiet are so brave. So much happens in that two inch journey and throughout gestation... so many changes in such a short time. My gratitude overflows when I see them welcomed with warmth and understanding of what they endured to get here. Watching them shed the Fight, Flight, Freeze that may have gotten triggered on their journey warms my heart. Listening to newborns and babies of all ages gives me JOY and leaky-eyed gratitude overflowing. So fresh from the other side, they have MUCH to teach us!
